Nayamba Trade Centre is a project of Wright House Company. We are located on Nagwaza Farm in Chisamba, Zambia.

We are a not-for-profit social enter-prise dedicated to women’s em-powerment through the production of quality handwoven items. We are focused on empowering women from rural areas, many of whom ex-perience barriers to education and employment.

Through our annual training initia-tive, Nayamba Trade Centre pro-vides rural Zambian women with hands-on skills such as weaving, spinning, natural dyeing, and tai-loring, plus the addition of an entrepreneurship module.

At Nayamba Trade Centre, we are devoted to using natural fibers and plant dyes across our production lines. All of our cottons are grown and spun in Africa, and we combine that with bamboo and Karacul wool from Namibia that we spin our-selves. Our natural dyes are careful-ly sourced from our farm and neigh-boring farms. By utilizing locally sourced natural dyes, we not only celebrate the rich biodiversity of our surroundings but also ensure a distinct and vibrant color palette that captures the essence of the local environment in Chisamba, Zambia.
